Royal Caribbean has brought 550 travel agents on board Legend of the Seas for its largest ever EMEA Seminar at Sea, with nearly 200 agents from Britain and Ireland joining more than 350 travel partners from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The record-breaking four-night educational event took place from 16-20 August 2026 aboard the cruise line’s newest Icon-class ship, sailing roundtrip from Barcelona with stops in Palma de Mallorca and La Spezia. The programme forms part of Royal Caribbean’s continued investment in its travel partners, equipping agents with first-hand product knowledge and tools to sell Royal Caribbean holidays with greater confidence.

Agents participated in three dedicated training sessions covering onboard experiences, suite accommodations, key ports of call, and Royal Caribbean’s Ultimate Destinations portfolio. The sailing showcased the brand’s new AI-powered live translation tool, enabling agents from across EMEA to access translated audio and closed captioning in their preferred language. The Legend Quest interactive game challenged agents to explore the ship through a gamified experience, while participants experienced the vessel’s 40 dining, drinking, and entertainment venues including the Hollywoodland Supper Club and the Broadway production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The event is part of a broader trade push that includes specialised AI-driven tools, digital rewards platforms, and storefront marketing programmes. Gerard Nolan, Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA, stated firsthand experience serves as the ultimate sales tool for agents.
