Shannon Airport records 168,955 passengers in March, up 14.7pc on 2025 & 68.3pc on pre-pandemic. Rolling annual was 2,282,205, up 14.7pc on the twelve months to March 2025.
It follows growth rates of 6.1pc in February and 11.9pc in January. Ryanair transferred routes from Cork to Snannon at the end of the month, Poznan and Warsaw and opened a new route to Rome-Ciampino bringing the Shannon network to 40 routes, 16 seasonal, up from 37 in 2025.
Shannon Airport posted a record year in 2025 with passenger numbers of 2,301,673, up 9.4pc on 2024 (2,104,361) and up 44.5pc on pre-pandemic, marking strong performance in transatlantic and European routes.
