Spain’s air navigation manager Enaire handled a record volume of flights in June, coinciding with the start of the peak summer season.
The organisation managed 238,400 more flights than in the previous year, representing a 4.5pc increase and outperforming the European average growth of 1.6pc. International flights rose by 5.6pc to 148,081, while national flights increased by 4.7pc.
Seville and Palma control centres led growth with 5.6pc each. In the first half of the year, Enaire exceeded 1.2m, 3.9pc more than in the same period of 2025.
