- Stefan Schulte secured a second term as ACI EUROPE President

Stefan Schulte of Fraport has been re-elected as President of ACI Europe.The election took place during the 36th Annual Congress and General Assembly in Prague on 23 June 2026. Schulte serves as CEO of Fraport AG. New board members appointed for a first term include George Kallimasias of Athens International Airport and Eleni Kaloyirou of Hermes Airports.
Aletta von Massenbach and Thomas Woldbye received appointments for a second term on the board. The association represents over 600 airports across 55 countries. Members committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Stefan Schulte leads the organisation during a period of focus on financial viability and investment. The board includes leaders from Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, England and Sweden.
Stefan Schulte shared “I am honoured that ACI EUROPE and its members have reaffirmed their confidence in my leadership for a second term, extending my tenure for another year. As Europe’s airports face the need to decouple their financial viability and investment capabilities from volume growth, I will continue to do my utmost during this critical time to represent our airport community.”
