Tourism Ireland has held its September board meeting in Galway on 17 September 2026 to review plans and progress. Alice Mansergh shared that the board met to look at plans and progress with input from local industry including food tours, boat trips, heritage attractions, festivals, accommodation and business events. Industry representatives shared their viewpoints with the board as part of efforts to bring visitors from overseas to the island of Ireland.
Conor Coyne of Kylemore Abbey shared his congratulaitons to the board having the industry meeting before the main event. The event provided an opportunity for Tourism Ireland to engage with local tourism businesses. The board meeting forms part of Tourism Ireland’s ongoing engagement with industry stakeholders.
