Tourism Ireland has hosted a B2B roadshow in Lille and Paris aimed at growing Business Events from France. Nine tourism companies from Ireland have connected with approximately 35 French MICE buyers during the event, which has involved presentations about Ireland, commercial meetings and networking. The roadshow has provided opportunities for tourism companies to inspire French buyers to choose Ireland for future meetings and incentive travel.

The roadshow has featured representatives from Inspire Ireland, TIFCO Hotel Group, Galway Convention Bureau, Anantara The Marker Hotel Dublin, Aloft Dublin City, Galway Food Tours, Kilkenny Food Tours, Visit Belfast, Titanic Belfast, Radisson Blu Royal Hotel and Dublin Royal Convention Centre. Tourism Ireland has continued to promote the island of Ireland as a destination for business events in the French market.

David Boyce, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Business Events and Luxury, shared: French MICE buyers have taken time to meet with partners from Ireland in Lille and Paris. Tourism Ireland has aimed to enable 7,500 commercial meetings focused on Business Events this year, connecting tourism partners from Ireland with overseas buyers to grow Business Events and support businesses.
