Tourism Ireland hosts members of Outdoor Writers Association of America

Five US travel writers and content creators have explored Ireland as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland. The group, members of the Outdoor Writers Association of America, followed an itinerary with guided activities across several locations. 

The schedule included a walking tour at Lough Boora Discovery Park, mountain bike and hiking in the Slieve Bloom Mountains with Mid Ireland Adventure, and a cruise on Lough Derg with Derg Lake Tours. Participants also tried stand-up paddle boarding with UL Sport Adventure Centre, a guided walk in the Glen of Aherlow, a visit to the Rock of Cashel, and a kayaking tour on the River Liffey in Dublin. Alison Metcalfe from Tourism Ireland confirmed the invitation aimed to showcase sustainable outdoor options.
