Tourism Ireland in Great Britain has teamed up with English Chefs and The Telegraph in a new campaign to showcase Ireland’s food scene and inspire potential holidaymakers to choose the island of Ireland. The promotion includes three online videos presented by British chef Richard Bainbridge and Irish chef and restaurateur Robin Gill. Viewers will follow the chefs as they visit Galway, Clare, Cork and Belfast meeting local producers and experiencing hospitality and food set against the background of Ireland’s landscapes.
The videos will be shared across the English Chefs website, YouTube and social channels as well as on Tourism Ireland’s social and digital channels. The partnership also includes online articles and newsletters to the GBC database. In addition content and articles will feature on the website and digital channels of The Telegraph. Overall the campaign will reach more than 8m people.
With over 70pc of potential visitors considering food when choosing a holiday destination Tourism Ireland is highlighting the food and drink available across the island of Ireland.

Our partnership with EnglishChefs and The Telegraph will highlight Ireland as a must visit destination for foodies. Chefs Richard Bainbridge and Dublin native Robin Gill will whet viewers’ appetites as they visit Galway, Clare, Cork and Belfast, meeting some of the producers and restaurateurs who are helping to shape our culinary reputation. We’re excited for them to shine a spotlight on our exceptional seafood, fine dining and farm-to-fork produce.”
