The full North American team gathered for the event which put cross functional team collaboration, innovation and creativity at the heart of the programme. Team Days provides an opportunity to celebrate team success, review business performance and realign behind the shared vision to increase the value of tourism to the island of Ireland from the United States and Canada.

The programme started with a half day Effective Communication and Presentation business skills workshop led by Stan Phelps Speaks on behalf of the Association of National Advertisers. The interactive workshop was packed with practical exercises. On day two Margaret Molloy hosted a fireside conversation with Q&A discussing Using AI in the workplace, the dos and don’ts including best practice, its impact as it shapes how people discover, plan and experience travel and how brands need to adapt.

Alison Metcalfe of Tourism Ireland New York shared: “There was great buzz and energy in the Tourism Ireland New York Office at the end of last week, as the full North American team gathered for our annual Team Days. Nothing beats spending in person time together as we put cross functional team collaboration, innovation and creativity at the heart of our programme. Team Days always provides a valuable opportunity to celebrate team success, review business performance, and realign behind our shared vision to increase the value of tourism to the island of Ireland from the United States and Canada. Our programme started with a half-day Effective Communication and Presentation business skills workshop led by Stan Phelps Speaks on behalf of the Association of National Advertisers. The interactive workshop was packed with practical exercises that tested, stretched and toned everyone’s presenting, speaking and storytelling muscles. On day two, I was pleased to host Margaret Molloy for a lively and insightful fireside conversation with Q&A. We discussed Using AI in the workplace, the dos and don’ts including best practice, its impact as it shapes how people discover, plan and experience travel, how brands need to adapt and top strategies for ensuring marketing communication feels authentic and genuinely human in an increasingly AI saturated world. Putting teamwork at the heart of everything, we spent quality time brainstorming and aligning on some Big Ideas with strong potential to unlock new growth, drive scale and greater impact, which were presented for feedback and voted on by the wider team. Teams also collaborated on four strategic topics to shape our marketing approach for 2027 and beyond. It was a really energizing couple of days away from the desk. I feel privileged to lead such a talented, professional and creative team and am excited to see some of the new and innovative thinking evolving further as we develop our plans for 2027 to inspire more travelers from North America to visit Ireland.”
