Limerick holds monthly Twilight Thursday event

Today, Thursday, February 26, 2026, Limerick is hosting its monthly Twilight Thursday, a city-wide initiative designed to boost the night-time economy with cultural events, live music, and special offers. 

Highlights include storytelling at the Hunt Museum (5:30 pm), a “Sip & Craft” workshop at King John’s Castle (€15), and a “Visible Mending” workshop at Lumen Street Theatre (€15).

The People’s Museum hosts a 8 pm reading of “Bondi Dreaming” (€10), alongside a guided “Cyber Limerick” night photography walk.

  • Vinyasa Yoga and “Breathe & Restore” sessions are available at Breathe Better Yoga starting at 6 pm. 
  • Ma Hogan’s features Dawna (7 pm), while The Old Quarter hosts Monticelli (9 pm, with free pint for first 50), and Tom O’Mahony headlines at Katie Daly’s.
  • A Mario Kart tournament takes place at Level Up (8 pm), with various RAG Week events at city venues from 9 pm. 
  • Dining and drinks offers include a progressive food trail through The Savoy Collection, a Redbreast whiskey pairing at Fordes Courtyard, and drink specials at The White House (2 for €18) and Nancy Blakes (€9 espresso martinis).

Uber and FreeNow offer 40pc off fares, and free parking is available at The Potato Market Car Park from 6 pm to 9 pm.
