Visit Iceland will unveil a range of new commissionable wellness products, trade packages and B2B tools at World Travel Market London from 3 to 5 November 2026. Reykjaböð Hot Springs opened in September 2026 in Hveragerði, an 8,000-square-metre geothermal destination spa about 30 to 40 minutes from Reykjavík, featuring natural hot springs, a Nordic bathhouse and event saunas. The Earth Lagoon in Mývatn, formerly known as the Mývatn Nature Baths in North Iceland, reopened as Earth Lagoon following a major expansion that added new lagoon sections and entry tiers.
Other highlights include the Forest Lagoon in Akureyri, which has expanded its bathing areas and is developing a new on-site hotel. New luxury stays and retreats include Höfði Lodge, Hvanndalir and the storytelling-inspired Skáld Hótel Akureyri. Classic wellness expansions include the oceanfront Sky Lagoon near Reykjavík and Laugarvatn Fontana along the Golden Circle.
