County Waterford expanded its network of pet friendly beaches, walks, heritage sites, dining options and accommodation. The county offers experiences from Tramore Beach and Dunmore East cliffs to the Waterford Greenway and Copper Coast UNESCO Global Geopark. Inland options include the Anne Valley Walk and Lismore Castle Gardens. 

The 46 kilometre Waterford Greenway serves as a major attraction for visitors with dogs and passes through areas such as Mount Congreve Gardens. Pet friendly dining includes Carter’s in Waterford City and the Splash Café in Dunmore East. Accommodation providers such as Faithlegg House Hotel and Waterford Castle Lodges welcome canine guests.
