WestJet has signed a dry lease commitment for thirteen B737-10s from the existing order book of Aviation Capital Group. The Canadian airline holds a direct order for ninety-six B737-10s from Boeing. Parties did not disclose the tentative delivery schedule as the type first needs certification.

Mike Scott serves as CFO and executive vice-president of WestJet Group. He confirmed the move supports fleet composition for reliable service. WestJet operates from its base in Calgary.

The arrangement allows WestJet to adjust its fleet deliveries. Boeing manufactures the B737-10 aircraft. WestJet plans integration once certification completes.
