MSC Cruises is launching its biggest ever agent incentive to celebrate the launch of the new online training platform MSC Masters. The cruise line will give away 2,000 places to the inaugural party onboard MSC Bellissima in Southampton on March 3, 2019.
To be in with a chance to win agents in Ireland and Britain must complete 11 modules in the MSC Masters’ training section, MSC Basics. Winning agents will be invited to Southampton to spend a night onboard MSC Bellissima (double occupancy) during the christening celebrations for the ship which will take place from March 1-4.
“MSC Cruises is the fastest growing cruise line in the market, and with new ships launching every year, and a constantly expanding and developing onboard product it’s important to provide agents with a fun and interactive way of expanding their knowledge of our product. There are still many misconceptions that exist about our brand and this tool is one of many steps we are taking to improve knowledge and increase our brand awareness,” said Steve Williams, Director of Sales for Britain and Ireland.

Antonio Paradiso, Managing Director for Britain and Ireland, said it will be the largest ever event for the Irish and British markets, adding: “As we prepare for the christening of MSC Bellissima, the largest ship ever to be named in Southampton, next March, there has never been a more important time for us to increase engagement and learning around our product, and this is just one of many initiatives we will be revealing in the coming months. At MSC Cruises we believe in showing agents our ships so they can become as passionate as we are. We are excited to be using this unique opportunity to host so many agents on board to experience first-hand one of our beautiful ships.”
MSC Masters is designed to help travel agents familiarise themselves with the Company’s 15 ships currently in service as well as new ships MSC Bellissima and MSC Grandiosa which will launch in Germany in November next year.
The training programme will also cover new itineraries and experiences created to meet the needs of guests of all ages from around the world and the best ways to find the right MSC Cruises holiday for each and every client. The interactive programme comprises a number of interactive modules, useful videos, tutorials for MSC Book – the booking system for travel agents – and information to provide a deeper insight into MSC Cruises’ brand history.
The training programme will be live through MSC Book, the Company’s booking system, from Monday, August 20.
