The Danube River is expected to see a slightly larger fleet in 2024 compared to the previous year, with 38 companies offering departures on nearly 150 ships, up just 1pc
Of these, 19 companies, including A-ROSA, Phoenix Reisen, Nicko Cruises, and TUI River Cruises, have increased their Danube River cruise capacity for 2024 compared to 2023.
Phoenix Reisen has significantly expanded its capacity in 2024 by 21.08pc, mainly due to the new Amina ship and an expanded season for other vessels.
Nicko Cruises has also increased its capacity on the Danube by introducing new cruises and extending the sailing season.
