Ferry services have been cancelled due to severe weather conditions in the Irish Sea while Stena Europe waits off Fishguard to dock.

Stena Line has cancelled Monday night’s 9.15pm sailing and today’s 09.00 sailing from Rosslare to Fishguard.

Irish Ferries have cancelled Dublin-Holyhead sailings at 01.55, 8.45 and 14.30 and Rosslare – Pembroke at 8.45.

The Stena Line service from Rosslare at 9am due to arrive in Fishguard at 12.30pm failed to dock at the Welsh port and another attempt to dock at 3.30pm was also unsuccessful.

Stena Line said the ferry was about six kilometres off-shore and would remain there overnight with 87 passengers and 59 crew on board.
