Guinness has partnered with JW Anderson to release a 17 piece collection inspired by traditional Irish pubs and shared craft heritage. The range draws on Ireland’s pub culture as a place of community and storytelling. The new drop significantly expands on their initial 2024 partnership following overwhelming consumer demand.
The collection reinterprets iconic Guinness imagery and the atmosphere of traditional Irish pubs through a luxury lens. Key pieces use materials that mimic the tactile experience of a pub, such as jacquards and embroidery inspired by patterned pub carpets, bar towels, and beer mats. A standout white shirt features a poem from a 1938 Guinness advertisement, while other pieces incorporate vintage brewery uniform silhouettes.
The “Guinness Gradient Jumper” uses an alpaca blend to recreate the creamy, settling head of a pint. Another luxury merino wool sweater pairs the historic Guinness harp with the JW Anderson logo.
Workwear Staples: This second chapter introduces more utilitarian items, including chore jackets, dungarees, and JW Anderson’s signature “twisted jeans”. The global campaign features actor Joe Alwyn and rapper Little Simz.
Produced in limited quantities, the collection is available at JW Anderson’s website and physical flagship stores in London (Soho and Pimlico Road), Milan, and Tokyo (Shibuya Parco), as well as select global retailers
