- Newbridge Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (11:45 am in Newbridge Town, route TBC): One of the county’s longest-running parades, themed “Volunteers and Business – the Heart of a Community” (also phrased as “Marching as One – Volunteers and Business”). It celebrates civic pride, partnership, and participation, featuring local clubs, voluntary groups, sports organisations, businesses, and community floats in a strong show of inclusion and local spirit.
- Maynooth Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (11:00 am, starts at Greenfield Shopping Centre and ends near Tesco): Themed “Medieval Maynooth” as part of the town’s 850th-anniversary celebrations. Expect creative entries inspired by historic heritage, with road closures from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for a colourful, themed procession through the town.
- Kilcock Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (1:30 pm, starts at Saint Joseph’s graveyard, Boycetown, through Church Saint and Main Saint to The Square): Themed “On our Screens – from Soaps to Superheroes”, encouraging fun, colourful costumes, creativity, and pop-culture-inspired displays for families and all ages.
- Monasterevin Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (2:00 pm in Monasterevin Town, start TBC): A festive afternoon event with strong participation from community groups and schools, often featuring music and activities from 1:00 pm at the Community Centre before the main street procession.
- Athy Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (3:00 pm in Athy Town): Themed “Community Spirit”, highlighting local bonds and encouraging involvement from residents and organisations in a lively, inclusive parade.
- Celbridge Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (4:00 pm, route along Church Road, Main Street, and Maynooth Road; pre-parade concert from 2:30 pm): Themed “Gulliver’s Travels” to mark the 300th anniversary of Jonathan Swift’s novel.
