Led by Grand Marshal Ava Crean (Ireland’s national women’s marathon champion, joined by her Back2Boston running club), it features floats, marching bands, dancers, community groups, the Irish National Clown Orchestra, and Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Company—promising colour, spectacle, and inclusivity. Road closures apply from early morning (e.g., 3:00 am–3:30 pm in key areas), with a Universal Access viewing zone at The Crescent/O’Connell Street.
- 54th Limerick International Band Championship (Sunday, 15 March, 12:00 pm): A major highlight with marching bands from around the world parading Limerick city streets (similar route to the main parade, culminating at Arthur’s Quay Park for a free concert and awards).
