Marella Cruises has confirmed its winter 2027 programme with bookings available from 02 July 2026. All five ships will homeport in six European and Caribbean ports with new itineraries and overnight stays. Marella Discovery 2 will operate as a permanent adults only ship with four new concepts transforming previous kids spaces.
Chris Hackney addressed the regeneration of Marella Discovery 2. The ship will homeport in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Malaga during the season from November 2027 to April 2028. New seven night Atlantic Fusion itineraries include calls at Agadir in Morocco. Repositioning and transatlantic cruises feature in the schedule for other vessels.
Marella Discovery will offer 13 and 14 night transatlantic sailings including the Voyage to the Tropics. Marella Explorer will alternate between Tenerife and Las Palmas while Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer 2 homeport in Barbados.
All five ships from the fleet homeport in six European and Caribbean ports during the season and offer brand new itineraries festive overnight stays repositioning cruises and transatlantic voyages.
The Marella Discovery 2 which completed three decades of operation last year becomes a permanent adults only ship with four new adults only onboard concepts. These transform previous kids only spaces into a speakeasy escape room karaoke room and arts and crafts area. The ship homeports from Tenerife Gran Canaria and Malaga between November 2027 and April 2028.
The Marella Discovery homeports in La Romana Dominican Republic and Palma Majorca. The Marella Explorer alternates between Tenerife and Las Palmas Gran Canaria. The Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer 2 sail Caribbean itineraries from Barbados. Chris Hackney the CEO confirmed the focus on adults only cruising.
