Ryanair and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have extended their longstanding collaboration for another five years. Ryanair will continue to leverage AWS’s cloud computing and AI technologies, including Amazon Quick, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, across its business. The technology will power Europe’s largest airline website, optimise schedules across its fleet of 647 aircraft and 3,900 daily flights, and enhance operational efficiency through advanced AI tools.

Ryanair is rolling out Amazon Quick, a personalised, proactive AI assistant that enables teams to interact with data and existing APIs through natural language to uncover actionable insights. The airline has also built an AI-powered app called Ryanair Connect that provides employees with tools to perform their job more effectively. Cabin crew have real-time visibility of their schedule and flight details, and can request changes such as annual leave or a shift swap more conveniently.

Tanuja Randery, Vice President and Managing Director EMEA at AWS, stated the industry is at a pivotal moment where cloud technology, AI, and data analytics are revolutionising operational efficiency and customer experiences.
