Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) has expanded its luxury travel offerings with the launch of two new collections, the Debut and Curated collections. These new categories extend the company’s portfolio beyond its traditional Star-Rated properties, providing trusted luxury options in previously unrated markets or for as-yet-unopened hotels. The inaugural Debut collection features 14 Mandarin Oriental hotels and resorts scheduled to open over the next 18 months, offering an exclusive early look for luxury travellers and travel advisors.

The Debut collection showcases hotels and cruises prior to their official launch, while the Curated collection includes properties in destinations where FTG does not currently conduct its independent Star Ratings. Both collections are presented on the ForbesTravelGuide.com website and are also integrated into MeridianV, the platform used by nearly 10,000 registered luxury travel advisors. While properties in these new collections are not Star-Rated, FTG has reviewed each to ensure alignment with its foundational criteria for luxury hospitality, with profiles clearly marked as sponsored to ensure transparency.

This strategic expansion comes as the company observes a growing demand from luxury travellers for trusted recommendations across all stages of their journey, from established destinations to new openings. The collections aim to provide discerning travellers with additional ways to discover luxury experiences while maintaining the credibility for which Forbes Travel Guide is known. The company’s CEO has confirmed the move is a response to this trend, helping to guide travellers to what is emerging in the luxury hospitality sector.
