Airbus has published its commercial aircraft orders and deliveries for the month of July 2026, revealing 67 deliveries to 39 customers during the month. The company has recorded 204 gross orders for July, bringing the total deliveries for 2026 to date to 418 aircraft delivered to 82 customers. The figures reflect sustained demand for new aircraft, particularly in the narrowbody segment where the A320neo Family continues to drive order volumes.
The July performance received a significant boost from a landmark 200-aircraft order placed by SMBC Aviation Capital during the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow. The order comprised 100 Airbus A320neo Family aircraft, including 65 A321neo and 35 A320neo models, alongside 100 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. SMBC Aviation Capital also signed an agreement with CFM International for up to 90 additional LEAP 1-A engines to power its existing Airbus A320neo family orders, securing a continuous pipeline of new aircraft deliveries through to the mid-2030s.
The Farnborough Airshow saw over 300 firm orders placed across the industry, with Airbus securing additional commitments from carriers including Flynas, Shohin Airlines, and startup BermudAir. Riyadh Air also confirmed orders for Airbus A350 aircraft as part of its fleet expansion strategy. The latest-technology narrowbody aircraft offer airline customers increased operational flexibility and significantly reduced fuel consumption compared to previous generation aircraft types.
