The Spanish Tourist Office has intensified its promotional activities within the Irish market at the 2026 Dublin Horse Show. Running from 5 to 9 August at the RDS, the tourist board has established a promotional space to showcase Spain’s cultural and equestrian appeal to travel agents, tour operators, and international visitors. The Spanish delegation has collaborated closely with Turismo Andaluz and event management suppliers like Mint Events Ireland to deliver its promotional programme.
The activation targets the Irish travel trade at the event, which features the €1m Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland and the 100th running of the Nations’ Cup for the Aga Khan Trophy. The Spanish Tourist Board aims to drive Irish visitor numbers to its southern regions by engaging with industry professionals. Spanish horseman Santi Serra, who previously performed at the 2025 Dublin Horse Show, is among the featured equestrian artists, strengthening Spain’s profile at the event.
The promotional presence heavily highlights the deep-rooted equestrian heritage and cultural traditions of Andalusia, a region that already attracts Irish holidaymakers. Over 120,000 visitors attend the Dublin Horse Show annually, providing a substantial platform for international tourism promotion.
