Virgin Atlantic Holidays has been officially launching its very first standalone London flagship retail store inside the iconic Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station later this year, and this major retail expansion builds upon a highly popular summer takeover campaign that the holiday brand previously hosted at the riverside development. Customers can sit face-to-face with travel specialists who will design luxury breaks, family trips, US road trips, and multi-centre adventures. The space is built to inspire travellers at every single stage of their journey and job listings reveal this flagship is part of a plan to open three new London stores between October 2026 and February 2027.

The new flagship will join over 170 shops, bars, and restaurants housed inside the stunningly restored historic building at Circus Rd W, Nine Elms, London SW11 8DD. The store operates Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The location is easily reachable via the Northern Line at the Battersea Power Station Underground station, which recently added a new step-free entrance on Electric Boulevard.

The store opening follows Virgin Atlantic Holidays’ summer takeover campaign at Battersea Power Station last year and the group clearly sees the potential for both branding and retail opportunities at one of London’s most up-and-coming shopping destinations. The development has hosted more than 40m visitors since it opened in 2022 and features 170 shops, bars, restaurants and leisure experiences including new stores by Swiss luxury chocolatier Laderach, lifestyle brand Anthropologie and Korean beauty retailer Moida K-Beauty, along with a health club by Third Space.
