IMPT, the Ireland-headquartered green commerce and climate technology platform, has reported a 273pc increase in its paid transaction run rate during the first half of 2026, with the monthly pace at mid-year almost four times the level recorded at the start of the year. The business has moved from a pre-commercial build phase in H1 2025 to a live, trading platform in H1 2026 across multiple countries, payment networks and partner markets. Card settled revenue rose by 44pc year on year over the same period, while the number of payment markets settling each month doubled.

The company added 300,000 new hotels in July 2026 at highly competitive negotiated rates, building on a near global base of more than eightm hotels and apartments. Carbon offset delivered increased by 150pc, with one tonne of verified offset funded on every booking. IMPT has also secured a certificate under Catalonia’s government-backed voluntary Climate Credit framework, issued in the company’s name in 2026, adding officially recognised climate credits to its portfolio of verified climate activity. The card settled revenue figure understates total commercial growth, according to the company, as a number of larger territory and country licences now settle through newer bank and local payment rails not included in the card figure.

The platform uses blockchain as a secure digital record, allowing climate contributions linked to bookings and purchases to be recorded in a transparent and traceable manner. IMPT’s expansion is being supported by accelerated growth in its travel inventory, with the quality of new rates strategically important for improving booking conversion while protecting margin. The company’s ambition focuses on making climate contribution part of ordinary purchasing behaviour across hotel bookings, shopping transactions and local territory partnerships, with the second half of 2026 prioritising depth in partner activity, transaction volume and local payment access.

Mike English, founder and chief technology officer of IMPT, shared: “The first half of 2026 marks a real inflection point for IMPT, with paid transactions growing strongly and partners now active across multiple markets.”

Denis Creighton, chief executive officer of IMPT, shared: “These numbers show a business that is now moving with real commercial momentum, with revenue growth, verified climate impact, stronger inventory and new markets. IMPT has built the engine and the priority now is to deepen partner activity and increase transaction volume.”
