TAP Air Portugal has introduced new features designed to further personalise the travel experience and cater to passengers’ various needs, from comfort and relaxation to access to digital content. The airline is now offering new travel kits on long-haul flights, complimentary access to PressReader via the in-flight Wi-Fi portal, and the ‘Skip Meal’ option, which allows customers to indicate in advance that they would prefer to skip their in-flight meal. A new service for the collection, storage and delivery of luggage through a partnership with LUGGit has also been launched.
TAP’s new travel kits are now being made available to passengers travelling in Business and Economy Prime classes on long-haul flights. Named “The Blaze”, the new collection features a revamped design, new contents, and a stronger focus on sustainability and Portuguese identity, crafted from recycled materials and inspired by Portuguese craftsmanship. The renewal also involves new products from Portuguese companies, including socks from PEDEMEIA and wellness products from 8950, a brand inspired by the Algarve.
TAP is also offering customers PressReader, a digital library of newspapers and magazines accessible on board Airbus A330-900 and Airbus A321LR aircraft, featuring titles from markets such as Portugal, Brazil, and England. The ‘Skip Meal’ option allows customers to indicate in advance that they do not wish to receive a meal on board, prioritising rest on long-haul flights. The partnership with LUGGit allows passengers to request collection, storage, and delivery of luggage at departure and/or destination, with service available at Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona, and Athens airports.
TAP Air Portugal shared in a written statement, “The new services and products reflect TAP’s commitment to a travel experience better tailored to passengers’ preferences and travel habits.”
