The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has reported occupancy of 51pc in the second quarter of 2026, down from 57pc a year earlier, as the brand’s capacity grew with the addition of a third ship. Available passenger cruise days rose 50pc in the quarter to 102,102, with passenger cruise days growing 33pc to 51,566.
Year-to-date capacity for the first half of 2026 increased 55pc to 208,842 available passenger cruise days against a 47pc rise in passenger cruise days to 106,104, leaving load factor at 51pc versus 54pc in the prior-year period. The company did not discount to fill the added capacity, with average daily rate per passenger rising 7pc in the quarter to $1,993 and 14pc year-to-date to $1,840.
Second-quarter bookings increased 35pc to $103m, with year-to-date bookings reaching a record $237m, up 46pc. Returning guests made up roughly 22pc of those who sailed during the quarter.
