The trips expand the operators’ joint portfolio of experiential travel products.
National Geographic Journeys focus on cultural immersion and unique access. Highlighted itineraries include an eight-day Northern Thailand immersion featuring a Khantoke dinner with a local family and joining monks for evening chanting at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. An eight-day Highlights of the Loire Valley and Bordeaux exploration includes private tours of Château de Chenonceau and navigating the ancient catacombs of Saint-Émilion. An eight-day Iconic Christmas Markets trip through Central Europe includes cooking traditional family recipes with a Prague chef.
National Geographic Family Journeys blend hands-on learning with iconic sights for multi-generational families. The Amazon and Machu Picchu nine-day trip offers naturalist-led night walks in the Amazon and ceramic painting classes with the Cuyo Chico community. Each family trip is managed by two dedicated expedition leaders, with new features including Junior Explorers Nights and Made Together Moments for collaborative family crafts.
