- BWG Foods to create over 100 jobs with new openings
- Four new foodservice locations planned
- Locations include Dublin, Carlow and Limerick
- Combined annual sales projected to exceed €50m
- Plan to add 25 new locations by 2030
BWG Foods has announced an expansion of its newly acquired quick-service restaurant business creating 100 jobs through four new foodservice openings across Ireland. The news follows BWG’s entry into the QSR sector earlier this summer through its acquisition of popular food brands like O’Briens Café, Abrakebabra, Bagel Factory and Oasis of Taste Food Hall. Combined annual sales across these four brands are already projected to exceed €50m.
The roles will be spread across four distinct locations scheduled to launch or fully open by the end of 2026. Citywest in Dublin has the recently opened Oasis of Taste Food Hall at the Citywest Shopping Centre marking the group’s fourth food hall in Dublin. A new standalone O’Briens Café and Bagel Factory location is planned for Dublin Smithfield. A new O’Briens Café and Bagel Factory location is planned for Carlow Town. A new O’Briens Café and Bagel Factory location is planned for Limerick City.
The new openings support the wholesale and retail group’s broader strategic vision to add 25 new locations by 2030. This long-term growth plan is being led by partnering with local entrepreneurs and expanding their current roster of more than 50 franchisee partners nationwide. The current franchised network already employs over 1,200 people.
