Ensana has expanded its portfolio to Germany with the Ensana Fürstenhof in Bad Griesbach Bavaria following extensive modernisation. The historic hotel celebrated its official reopening with General Manager Ralf Müller and Frank Halmos CEO of Ensana Hotels hosting invited guests. The hotel features 148 redesigned rooms and a newly refurbished 4,500 square metre spa area.

The wellness area features two indoor pools and an outdoor pool with thermal water, two whirlpools, saunas, a steam room and a salt grotto. The concept combines natural healing resources, medical expertise and high-quality hospitality. A key role is played by the fluoride-containing sodium hydrogen carbonate chloride thermal water sourced from Bad Griesbach’s therapeutic springs.

A dedicated medical area is set to open in early 2027 with personalised programmes focusing on musculoskeletal health, stress reduction and holistic well-being. The hotel hosts its traditional Martinmas goose lunch on 15 November 2026 and a relaxed brunch every second Sunday. Live music features every Wednesday and Saturday from 8pm to 10:30pm.
