Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport is launching its largest winter flight schedule to date for the 2026/2027 season featuring roughly 5pc more flights than the previous winter even as overall flight capacity declines across Germany. The winter timetable begins on 25 October 2026. Ryanair is basing an additional aircraft at Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and launching five new routes including Gran Canaria Seville Lamezia Terme Marrakesh Rabat and Tirana.

New carrier FlyVINI is restoring a connection to the Berlin area with non-stop flights to Schönhagen Airfield starting 25 October 2026. Wizz Air is introducing new routes to Arad Brasov Podgorica and Pristina alongside operations from airlines like Eurowings Corendon and Freebird. The airport expects about 80,000 passengers during the autumn school holidays up 13pc on the previous year.

The winter schedule features more flights despite the wider decline in German aviation capacity. The airport is benefiting from low-cost carrier expansion. The new routes expand connectivity to destinations across Europe and North Africa.
