South East Technological University Waterford will host the Knorr Professional Student Chef of the Year 2027 final on campus on 4 March 2027. The event is organised by Unilever Food Solutions Ireland as Ireland’s leading culinary contest for hospitality students. The hosting announcement follows SETU Waterford student Rebecca Mahon winning the 2026 national title.
The final brings top young culinary talent and experts to Waterford. Audery Crone of Unilever Food Solutions noted SETU’s mentoring excellence. Further rules and entry details will be announced in the coming months.
