Frommer’s has published its list of the 15 best places to visit in 2027. The selection marks the publisher’s 70th anniversary year and highlights destinations chosen by its travel experts. The list includes US locations such as Salt Lake City, Miami, Cincinnati, Ely and Dolly Parton’s Tennessee alongside international spots.
International destinations include the Austral Islands, Abruzzo, Uzbekistan, New Zealand’s Waikato and Bay of Plenty, Luxor, Cartagena, Kuala Lumpur, Santiago de Compostela, Loreto and Cairngorms National Park. Salt Lake City is highlighted as its iconic Salt Lake Temple opens to the general public for the first time since its 1893 dedication.
Miami is recognised as it amplifies its creative reputation by transforming public landscapes with new installations of contemporary arts trails. Cincinnati is the setting for the new $160m Farmer Music Center, the 100-day ArtsWave festival and the old Lunken Airport Terminal transformed into a hospitality destination.
