Booking.com has revealed its top trending destinations for 2027 based on global searches. The ten global trending destinations include Reims in France, Monterey in California, Sendai in Japan, Rosario in Argentina, Puri in India, Christchurch in New Zealand, Bratislava in Slovakia, Goiânia in Brazil, Pescara in Italy and Asunción in Paraguay. The destinations were required to be among the 1,000 most booked on Booking.com between 1 January and 30 June 2026.
For England travellers the top trending international destinations include Burgas City in Bulgaria at 819pc increase, Limerick in Ireland at 409pc increase and Alcaidesa in Spain at 286pc increase. Other destinations include Tarifa in Spain at 239pc, Courbevoie in France at 234pc and Laguna Phuket in Thailand at 232pc. Al Masfalah in Saudi Arabia recorded 231pc, Kuusamo in Finland 215pc, Amoudara Herakliou in Greece 212pc and Mylopotas in Greece 201pc.
The data is based on Booking.com searches made by England travellers between 1 January and 31 August 2026 compared year-on-year for stays between 1 December 2026 and 30 September 2027. The destinations were identified based on year-on-year growth and curated to ensure geographic distribution. The findings form part of Booking.com’s annual Travel Predictions.
