Easyjet has launched three new winter routes from Belfast, expanding options for travellers across the region. The Sharm El Sheikh service from Belfast International Airport began on 25 October 2026, operating on Wednesdays and Sundays and representing the six counties’ only direct flight to Egypt. The London Southend route from Belfast City Airport also began on 25 October 2026, operating on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays. The Rome Fiumicino service from Belfast International Airport began on 26 October 2026, operating on Mondays and Fridays and representing the only regular, year-round direct flight to Rome from the six counties.
The three routes are tailored for winter sun escapes, weekend getaways and expanded business travel options. Bookings are available on the Easyjet website. The Sharm El Sheikh service provides access to Egypt’s Red Sea resorts, while the Rome service offers year-round connectivity to the Italian capital.
The London Southend route expands domestic city-break connectivity between the six counties and south-east England. The Rome service operates year-round rather than seasonally. The airline’s network from Belfast now includes these three additions.
