MSC Cruises has received attestation from RINA for its application of diversity and inclusion ISO standards, becoming the first cruise line to do so. The cruise line received attestation for its application of ISO 30415:2021 on human resources management for diversity and inclusion following an independent third-party assessment by RINA. The certification recognises steps taken to apply these principles across the organisation.

The attestation was formally presented on 27 October 2026 on board MSC Grandiosa in La Spezia. Magali Bertolucci, vice president for people development, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing at MSC Group’s cruise division, and Emanuele Castagno, RINA’s executive vice president certification, attended the presentation. The recognition follows assessment of policies and practices across the organisation.

MSC Cruises noted that diversity forms part of its identity and that inclusion means valuing differences and creating a workplace where everyone feels part of the team. The attestation covers human resources management practices. The cruise line operates a global fleet and shore operations.
