Into Kildare, the tourism body for County Kildare, has announced a new sponsorship of Naas Racecourse in partnership with Kildare County Council. The partnership draws on the county’s racing heritage to encourage visitors to experience more of what Kildare has to offer. The partnership will be formally launched at the Return of the Jumps meeting on Sunday 8 November 2026 with the running of the Into Kildare Beginners Chase.
Into Kildare works with tourism and hospitality businesses across the county to promote Kildare as a visitor destination showcasing accommodation, food and drink, heritage, attractions and outdoor experiences. The sponsorship brings that work directly to racegoers with an invitation to turn a day at the races into an overnight stay or a longer break. Kildare is home to Naas, The Curragh and Punchestown racecourses alongside stud farms, thoroughbred attractions and Horse Country experiences.
The partnership forms part of Into Kildare’s work with venues, attractions and hospitality businesses to build awareness of the county as a destination and create opportunities for local businesses to benefit from visitors attending major events. The partnership will showcase the county’s tourism offering to racegoers from Ireland and overseas encouraging them to explore its towns, restaurants and countryside.
Chloe McGrory shared “With three fantastic racecourses, our stud farms and a growing range of Horse Country experiences, Kildare has an exceptional racing and equestrian story. Naas Racecourse is an important part of that, and we are delighted, in partnership with Kildare County Council, to support the racecourse and sponsor the Into Kildare Beginners Chase.”
Aidan McGarry shared “We really enjoyed working with the Into Kildare team, particularly in hosting Taste of Kildare at Naas Racecourse, so we are delighted to build on that relationship through this new race sponsorship.”
