Turin Airport has surpassed 5m passengers so far in 2026, setting a new annual record with nearly two months still to go. October alone saw 540,000 travellers, up more than 25pc on the same month last year. New winter routes by Ryanair and Wizz Air are helping boost numbers for the ski season.
The airport set an all-time annual passenger record in 2025 with 5,006,169 passengers, surpassing its previous 2024 record of 4,693,977 passengers. The airport continued to break records into early 2026, recording 1,426,300 passengers from January to March 2026, a 15.6pc increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Growth drivers include expansion of international routes, increased flight frequencies and the addition of a third-based Ryanair aircraft in Turin. The airport has surpassed its previous annual record with two months of the year remaining.
