- Condor and cabin crew union UFO have agreed a new collective bargaining deal
- The agreement takes effect on 1 January 2027
- It includes more free days, better roster planning and stronger protection of leisure time
- The deal prevents cabin crew strikes for at least two years
- Condor reached a separate deal with its pilots’ union in late October 2026
Condor and the cabin crew union UFO have agreed a new collective framework agreement for cabin staff. The deal takes effect on 1 January 2027 and ensures industrial peace with no risk of cabin crew strikes for at least two years. Talks took place against a backdrop of high fuel prices and taxes affecting German carriers.
The new deal consolidates previously fragmented collective bargaining terms into a single standardised agreement. Key priorities include increased scheduled leisure time, more reliable duty rosters and stronger protections for scheduled days off and rest periods. Both parties noted the agreement is designed to secure long-term jobs and facilitate new cabin crew hires.
The agreement prevents cabin crew walkouts at Condor for at least the next two years following a separate long-term pay and job-protection deal Condor reached with its pilots’ union in late October 2026. The union reported the deal should help secure jobs and support new hiring.
