Considered a jewel of the Turkish Riviera, Antalya offers a blend of history, natural beauty, vibrant culture, ancient ruins, golden beaches, and culinary delights. It has grown to become Turkiye’s largest international sea resort and has experienced significant growth in tourism, thanks to large-scale development and governmental funding. The city atrtracted 13.6m tourists pre pandemic.  Named for  Attalos II, king of Pergamon in 138BC, Antalya was once a pastoral town, Antalya has transformed into one of Turkiye’s largest metropolitan areas, largely due to tourism. Antalya was the host city for the 2015 G-20 summit and the EXPO 2016. Five countries have their consular missions in Antalya.

Main tourist stops:
