
Over 100 tourism enterprises from Clare and Limerick attended a Fáilte Ireland networking event at Dromoland Castle, aimed at fostering collaboration between the two counties to attract more visitors.
The event included face-to-face networking sessions, allowing participants to create new connections and reinforce existing ones, along with updates on future Fáilte Ireland initiatives by Margaret Jenkins.
Eoghan Staunton from Krisolis provided insights on Artificial Intelligence (AI), adding a unique learning opportunity for attendees.
Margaret Jenkins, Wild Atlantic Way team manager at Fàilte Ireland, emphasised the importance of collaboration in enhancing the tourism offerings of Clare and Limerick, allowing travellers access to diverse lodging, attractions, and activities: “We were delighted to see so many tourism businesses from Clare and Limerick taking time out of their busy schedule to attend our Networking event here at Dromoland Castle. Both Clare and Limerick are popular tourist destinations with a thriving, well-organised industries that appeal to both domestic and foreign tourists. By bringing tourism businesses from each county together for this important workshop, we can help to strengthen connections.
