The Brick Féile will take place at the CityNorth Hotel and Conference Centre in Gormanstown, County Meath, offering a two-day celebration of LEGO creativity. Organised by Brick.ie, an Irish community for adult LEGO enthusiasts, the festival showcases custom-built models and interactive activities, raising funds for Fairy Bricks, a charity that donates LEGO sets to children’s hospitals. The event, running from 10am to 5pm each day, provides an engaging experience for families, collectors, and LEGO fans of all ages, set in a venue just 15 minutes from Dublin Airport.

Visitors can expect a variety of displays and activities. The festival features intricate LEGO models crafted by builders from Ireland, England, and beyond, including unique group projects and Great Ball Contraption (GBC) modules by the Brick.ie team. International model builders will be present to share techniques, while a large mosaic-building activity, led by Fairy Bricks’ world record-breaking team, allows attendees to contribute to Ireland’s largest LEGO mosaic. Interactive play areas include extensive brick pits and a Duplo pit for younger children, encouraging hands-on creativity. Previous years’ popular builds, such as a giant pirate minifigure and tractor made from 2×4 bricks, suggest a new large-scale build challenge for 2025. Trade stands will offer rare LEGO sets, minifigures, and personalised engraving, catering to collectors. The festival’s accessible venue, with free parking and proximity to Gormanston train station, enhances convenience for attendees.

The Brick Féile was first held in 2018, founded by Brick.ie to create a platform for Irish LEGO fans to showcase their creations and connect with the wider community. The group, a collective of Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs), aimed to foster creativity and support charitable causes, partnering with Fairy Bricks to donate thousands of LEGO sets to Irish hospitals since the festival’s inception. Initially a modest event, it has grown into Ireland’s premier LEGO fan gathering, attracting international builders and expanding its interactive offerings. The festival’s move to the CityNorth Hotel in 2019 provided a larger space, accommodating its growing popularity and enabling more elaborate displays.

Visitors can expect a welcoming atmosphere, with opportunities to engage with builders, explore intricate models, and participate in hands-on activities. The event’s blend of artistry and interactivity, set against the backdrop of Meath’s accessible location, makes it a distinctive outing for families and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
