Viking Vesta completes its maiden cruise

The Viking Vesta has completed its maiden cruise, after being delivered by the Fincantieri shipyard in late June. The inaugural journey is a 12-night Mediterranean cruise, visiting destinations such as Italy, Croatia, Greece, Monaco, and France, ending in Barcelona.

Following the maiden cruise, the ship will undertake a 14-night repositioning voyage to Northern Europe, including stops in Spain, Portugal, Wales, and England. The 54,300-ton vessel is designed to sail various itineraries ranging from seven to 28 nights in the Western and Eastern Mediterranean.

Viking Ocean Cruises plans to take delivery of ten more vessels in the next six years, including the Viking Mira and Viking Libra scheduled for 2026.
