Ronan Byrne has been appointed Vice Chair of the Cost of Business Advisory Forum by Peter Burke. The Forum aims to collaboratively address business challenges with regulators present to consider firsthand experiences.

Byrne, with extensive hospitality experience, expressed honour in representing the business community. It seeks to create practical recommendations tailored to diverse business needs across Ireland.

Peter Burke emphasized the Forum’s importance in balancing stakeholder voices and encouraging direct communication.

Ronan Byrne shared: “It’s a privilege to represent the business community in this new forum, and I’m particularly proud to bring a Midlands and hospitality perspective to the national conversation. Our aim is to make practical, targeted recommendations that will help businesses thrive. It’s about finding realistic solutions that reflect the different needs of businesses across the country, including those in regional economies like ours. I’ve been looking forward to the first meeting of the Cost of Business Advisory Forum and hearing directly from the people who run businesses, employ our citizens, and keep our economy strong.”
