Gardaí say a blaze at the Percy French Hotel in Ballyjamesduff, Co Cavan was started deliberately. The fire broke out last week, with the alarm raised at around 4pm on Friday afternoon.
Fire crews and local Garda units responded rapidly to the scene of the incident. Authorities believe that foul play was involved in the cause of the fire.
