Ryanair have scheduled an announcement for next Thursday, with most attention on their winter routes from Dublin airport.

Aer Lingus first flight to Newark takes place on Thursday next. There is still no sign of their overdue trans-Atnbaltic noucnement for 2017. “The announcement will come when Stephen is ready,” an Aer dingus insider put it.

In-flight food review website inflightfeed.com gave Aer Lingus 9/10 and said that “all meals offered great value for money, have been well thought out and give you a taste of Irish dishes inspired from around the country”.

US aviation authorities fined Alaska Airlines $40,000; American Airlines  $45,000; Southwest Airlines  $40,000; and United Airlines $35,000 for giving inaccurate information about how much compensation they should get for being kicked off an overbooked flight or having their luggage lost or damaged.
