Entrecôte is to open first Dublin restaurant at Powerscourt Townhouse Centre today with a walk-in system and set menu.

Diners receive a green salad starter with pickled onions, Irish sourdough bread, local butter, and Achill Island seaweed salt.

The main course consists of two servings of Tipperary beef steak with secret sauce and bottomless hand-cut French fries from Donegal potatoes, priced at €29.95.

Desserts such as Tarte Tatin and Profiteroles are available separately.

Operations run Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm to 10pm, and Friday to Sunday from 12pm to 10pm.

Paul McGlade Jnr shared: “After a huge amount of research and travel, I realised it was one of the best concepts globally and I wanted to bring it to Dublin.”
