Meet Boston, the organisation that promotes tourism to Greater Boston, has concluded a two-day trade mission in Dublin. The event gathered 25 Irish travel trade professionals and 15 Boston suppliers at the Westin Hotel. Participants discussed collaboration opportunities in leisure and business travel.

Meet Boston rebranded from the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau in August. The change aims to attract diverse visitors. The organisation markets Boston for conventions, meetings and leisure. It supports 79,000 jobs in the sector. Tourism generated €8bn in visitor spend for Massachusetts in 2024.

Irish operators attended from companies such as Cassidy Travel and Trailfinders. Boston suppliers included hotels like the Omni Parker House and attractions such as the Boston Tea Party Ships. The mission focused on packages for 2026, including events around the FIFA World Cup matches at Gillette Stadium.
