USA visitor numbers from Europe fell off a cliff in August with Ireland down 16pc, France & Germany down 23pc, and Britain down 9pc

Ireland visitors to the USA reached 30,276 in August 2026 according to official data. This represents a decrease of 16.2pc on August 2025 and a decrease of 26.9pc on pre-pandemic levels. The rolling annual figure was 462,472 down 6.3pc on the twelve months to August 2025.
